In spite of the installation of modern techniques the old charme of this cottage has been kept by renovating it carefully. Near the entrance to the cottage there is a large roof-covered south-west terrace (7x3,50m) with teak furniture, from where one can enjoy the lovely view over the valley and the Atlantic Ocean.
The house is designed for 4 persons and has two large bedrooms with twin beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom ensuite (shower, hand basin, W.C. and bidet), outfitted with hair dryer, cosmetic mirror and bath-robes.
The modern kitchen contains an electric hob with 4 plates, electric oven, refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, toaster, water kettle and juicer. 6 to 7 persons can be seated at the large dining table near the kitchen.
Modern and antique furniture are artfully combined and create a cozy atmosphere.

From the living room you get out directly onto the south-east terrace where the sun shines early enough in the morning to enjoy your breakfast outdoors.
Every terrace offers tables, chairs and benches. A staircase leads up to the roof-deck (about 90qm) from where you have a magnificent view to the sea.
Here you also have a tiled outdoor kitchen with cold and hot water taps, a sink and a grill. Close by, there is a dining corner with large benches and a suncreen pergola where you will also find several deckchairs for the guests.
The thick natural walls of volcanic pumice stone give the house an excellent climate. While renovating the house we were aiming just to use natural products.
