The Cottages
Casa Constanza – Manor-House deluxe
The main bedroom with a restricting bathroom is equipped with large mirror cabinets, two single beds (90 x 200 cm), electronically moveable head and foot sections and special mattresses being friendly for the back. The second bedroom, which is called “Napoleon-room”, is furnished antiquely and valuably with a comfortable couch from the biedermeier era and a massive, old frankfurter wardrobe. It is said that the imperator Napoleon slept in the canopy bed (150 x 190 cm). Scissor-type carpets and old oil paintings lead to a comforting atmosphere.
There is a 3rd bedroom, in which you can find a double-bed couch (160 x 190 cm) and a single bed made of wood (90 x 190 cm). A huge, massive and old desk made of oak wood, a wardrobe, a blanket, oil paintings and marmoreal boneheads at the ceiling are provided. This room can be used as a typing or working room. Access to the internet and TV is planned. In the fourth bedroom, which is a single room, a massive bed made of wood (90 x 190 cm), a wardrobe, a petroleum-ceiling light and pen drawings decorating the wall are supplied.
The very large bathroom is equipped with two wash basins, oversized bathtub, toilet, bidet and shower. The luxurious atmosphere is enhanced by the interior decoration composed of glas, natural stones, hand crafted tiling, mirrored walls and integrated loudspeakers which may be coupled with the living room stereo equipment. Besides there is a separate WC accessible from the hall.
Electrical massage and TV-chair with a fitted in piece to hear radio or cassettes, an original persian rug and other diverse decorating materials top off the living picture. Video films, CD’s cassettes and books can be used. From the living room you get directly to a narrow, long, Canarian balcony with wonderful view to the garden and the Atlantic sea. Evening mood and view to the island La Gomera.
The house is equipped with a modern fitted kitchen. Moreover an oven, a ceramic stove top, a coffee machine, a juice squeezer, a juice mixer, a toaster, an electric kettle as well as a great choice of cooking pots, dishes and cutlery are available. You also find a worktop made of granite stone and a pass-through to the dining room. The dining room is vitrified. It is furnished with an old massive dining table, a commode made of natural wood, an oil picture and a velvet curtain.
The invisible and wind protected internal patio with beautif flowers, foliage plants and two-piece-suit invites you to breakfast. The terraces have a size of about 200 sqm. As they are on two levels and surrounded by a 1 m high wall they are not visible. With hammock, divan beds, table with chairs, benches and a table made of wood and natural shadows through the all-the-year blooming Bougainvilla.
